ECHO Revamps Web Presence With Sleek New Site
Ft. Myers, FL -- In early 2009, WMtek began its partnership with ECHO (Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization). The goal was to bring their web presence to the next level. This goal was realized on Monday, August 24 when ECHO's new website officially went live.
This site is powered by WMtek's Site Stacker software suite and features a clean web 2.0 design, integrated flash presentations, file repository, blogging, event calendar and much more. Soon the site will be live in French and Spanish using WMtek's multi lingual site tools. One of the primary needs of ECHO was for their regional offices around the world to be able to ad and maintain their own websites which this system will allow them to very easily accomplish. In regards to the project, ECHO's Public Relations Director, Danielle Flood said,
"Wmtek has given us an incredible new website and exceeded our expectations! We love the user interface and are impressed with the new capabilities we now have. WMtek has helped us drastically improve our web presence! Their honest and passionate work ethic made me think of them as "OUR web team" instead of a company that is simply providing a content management system! We are extremely pleased with WMtek and look forward to working with them in the future!"
ECHO is a one of a kind organization working to make farmers more effective at growing food producing crops under harsh conditions. MakaziVille.com
WMtek recently went live with "MakaziVille," an Avatar-based adventure game where kids can learn about Bible translation. This project was a result from a partnership between the Duggar family and The Seed Company, who wanted to create a fun and exciting way to show families the importance of getting the Bible to unreached people groups. MakaziVille takes you through ten levels which include devotions and over 400 games, quizzes, and other educational challenges the user must complete in order to build and expand their village. Some challenges even take the user away from the computer to do with other people, incorporating the importance of reading your Bible, praying, and sharing your faith.
