South Florida Software Company builds and launches Freedom Federation Website
Washington, DC -- Who says that conservatives aren't tech savvy? The first major grassroots web initiative has been launched by a large federation of Conservative faith-based organizations. The federation intends to level the playing field when it comes to quality conservative web initiatives.
The website, located at www.freedomfederation.org, was officially launched Wednesday, August 26, 2009 with the aid of the software development company, WMtek Corp, located in Vero Beach, Florida.
The Freedom Federation is bringing together a coalition of national faith-based organizations and leaders in order to mobilize a multiethnic and trans-generational movement to preserve freedom and promote justice. It is not a separate organization. It is a federation of organizations with large and unique constituencies that share common core values.
A partial listing of some of the organizations includes, but is not limited to, the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, America's largest Hispanic Christian organization; Teen Mania, reaching several hundred thousand youth each year; American Association of Christian Counselors, the largest Christian counseling organization with over 50,000 professional members; Liberty University, the largest evangelical university in the world with 50,000 students; Catholic Online; American Family Association; Family Research Council; Liberty Counsel; Liberty Alliance Action; Vision America; Morning Star Ministries; The Call to Action; Concerned Women for America; High Impact Leadership Coalition; Campaign for Working Families; Conservative Action Project; Traditional Values Coalition, a coalition of 45,000 evangelical churches; Faith and Action; Renewing American Leadership; National Clergy Council; Eagle Forum; Americans for Prosperity; Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND); Life Education and Resource Network (LEARN); and Strang Communications.
The websites resources will address many conservative and Judeo Christian issues. It will serve as the central hub for news and policy information that the Freedom Federation wants to communicate. Currently users can find out more information about the federation members, sign the Declaration of Family Values and receive news updates on issues pertinent to conservative Americans. Phase two of the project will be a very ambitious endeavor which will provide individual users with tools that will allow them to get organized with people in their communities, raise awareness of certain issues by sharing content virally, solicit online donations for important causes and petition the government to act on behalf of family values.
The site will facilitate the involvement of individuals in the free expression of ideas, as well as increasing the ability of both the individual and the organization to enact change based on the grassroots efforts of conservatives.
Dan Pennell, CEO of WMtek and Director of the Freedom Federation web project, stated, "The Freedom Federation is one of the most important active movements happening in America today, and the way they implement and utilize technology may ultimately spell the success or failure of the Federations goals. WMtek is honored to be challenged with such an important responsibility."

MakaziVille.com
WMtek recently went live with "MakaziVille," an Avatar-based adventure game where kids can learn about Bible translation. This project was a result from a partnership between the Duggar family and The Seed Company, who wanted to create a fun and exciting way to show families the importance of getting the Bible to unreached people groups. MakaziVille takes you through ten levels which include devotions and over 400 games, quizzes, and other educational challenges the user must complete in order to build and expand their village. Some challenges even take the user away from the computer to do with other people, incorporating the importance of reading your Bible, praying, and sharing your faith.
